Company Background

  • In late 2017, Co-Founders Manny and Josh teamed up to help give chocolate milk a clean slate. After a successful Kickstarter, an appearance on Shark Tank, and two years of R&D, Slate launched in late 2019. What began as an idea to make healthier chocolate milk has quickly evolved into a strength and energy brand that sells high protein milks and lattes in thousands of stores, and nationwide online. As a Plastic Neutral business, we’re on a mission to create all-natural, high protein products that are better for our bodies and our planet.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Positively represent our brand to our loyal consumers by responding to customer service inquiries in our brand voice

  • Problem solve and manage relations with warehouse partners to ensure customers are happy

  • Help lead marketing initiatives with marketing team

  • Set up new vendor and customer accounts, credit checks, and issuing appropriate terms

  • Manage trade spend costs, maintain tracking database on promotional spend and trade charges paid

  • Coordinate sending samples, collateral, and/or any other sales tools to distribution, retail, and influencer partners

  • Other projects as they come up!

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel, Advanced is a plus

  • Organized, with a strong attention to detail - precise data entry is extremely important

  • 2-6 years of experience

  • Comfortable with Instagram, Facebook, and responding to email in a timely manner

  • Thrives in a high paced environment

  • Willing to get your hands dirty - we’ve spent hours packing boxes and moving stuff around, ourselves!

  • Food and beverage industry experience is a plus
